Kuranda Transfers - Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms
Service Description: Kuranda Transfers provides private transportation services for individuals and groups, offering fixed rates, pre-booking options, and a commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction.
Acceptance of Terms: By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with booking a service.
2. Bookings and Cancellations
Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to confirmation, and customers will receive a confirmation message via SMS or email.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled pickup time to avoid charges.
- Cancellations within 4 hours of pickup will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the fare.
- No-shows (failure to be present at the pickup location) will be charged 100% of the fare.
3. Pricing
Fixed Prices: Fixed prices apply for pre-booked trips with at least 24 hours’ notice. Example fares include:
- Kuranda to Cairns Airport: $88
- Kuranda to Cairns Central: $97
- Kuranda to Smithfield: $47
- Airport Pickup to Kuranda: $88
Local Discounts: Special offers and discounts may be available for local residents via private communication channels such as SMS.
4. Payments
Payment Methods: We accept multiple payment methods, including:
- Cash
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Mobile Payments via Stripe Terminal
- Online Payment Links
Payment Timing:
- Payments are required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.
- A deposit may be required for long-distance or high-demand bookings.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Accurate Information:
- Customers must provide accurate booking details, including flight information for airport pickups.
- Any incorrect details may result in additional charges or service disruptions.
Prompt Communication:
- Customers should notify us immediately of any delays, cancellations, or changes to their travel plans.
- If a driver is waiting for more than 10 minutes past the scheduled pickup time, additional waiting fees may apply.
6. Liability
Service Interruptions:
- Kuranda Transfers is not responsible for service delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, road closures, traffic conditions, or vehicle breakdowns.
- In the event of a disruption, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative transport or reschedule your ride.
Personal Belongings:
- Customers are responsible for their personal belongings.
- Kuranda Transfers is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items during the journey.
7. Child Safety and Special Requirements
Child Seats:
- Queensland law allows children under 7 to travel without a child seat, but we provide child seats for added safety.
- Customers must request a child seat or booster seat at the time of booking.
- A small fee applies to cover seat maintenance and availability.
Special Assistance: If you require additional assistance (e.g., wheelchair-accessible transport), please let us know in advance.
8. Privacy Policy
Data Protection:
- Kuranda Transfers is committed to protecting customer data and using it solely for service provision.
- We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties without consent.
9. Complaints and Feedback
